Is August the best month for a Kenya safari? For many people, yes.
The migration is fully in the Mara, the weather is dry and every predator is active. Adding Lake Nakuru gives you black and white rhinos on the way, so the trip covers the Big Five without extra driving.

Questions people ask
Is August high season?
Yes. Book early and expect peak rates, especially for camps near the river.
Can children join?
Yes. Many camps welcome children and some offer family tents.
Do we see the Big Five?
Lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo are common in the Mara and Nakuru adds rhino, so the full five is very likely.
