Morning. Drive north from Nakuru through Marigat to Kampi ya Samaki, about 2 hours. Bird walk below the cliffs with a local guide, looking for owls, hornbills and nightjars.

Midday. Boat ride with fish eagle feeding, then a stop on a baringo island to visit a small village. Lunch by the lake.

Afternoon. Optional stop at the Lake Bogoria hot springs on the way back, park fees extra, or straight back to Nakuru.
