Mmi wanjiLocal Guide · 44 reviews★★★★★3 months agoTrip to Maasai mara. Thank you for your proposal and organisation. I had travelled with my daughter. Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. Thank you very much Authentic fitness and adventure for making our holiday rich in memories.🎉🎉🎉🎉Read full review

Questions people ask

When are the races held?

Kenya has road races through the year. Major city races are usually in the second half of the year. Dates are confirmed in your quote.

What should I pack?

Race kit, two pairs of running shoes, a cap, sunscreen and gels you trust.

Are fees included?

Yes. Race entry, Nairobi National Park and Karura Forest fees are in the price.

How far is the hotel from the start?

Hotels are picked within 15 to 30 minutes of the start. Race day roads close early.

Is it hard running at altitude?

Nairobi sits about 1,700 m above sea level, so expect a slower time. Kids races exist at some events for ages 6 and over.

How does a city race compare to the lewa marathon?

A city race is on tarmac with big crowds. Lewa runs on dirt tracks through a wildlife conservancy.
