The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. Day 1. Drive from Nairobi to the Chyulu Hills, about 4 to 5 hours. Safety briefing and an evening walk on the green hills. Camp night.

Day 2. Enter the cave with guides. Spend several hours in the chyulu caves passages, then drive back to Nairobi.

How long is Leviathan Cave?

It is one of the longest lava tube kenya systems known, running for several kilometres. You explore only a section.

Do I need caving experience?

Not formal training, but you must be fit and calm in tight, dark spaces.

Is it safe?

With guides, helmets and lights it is managed well. Loose rock and low roofs mean care at every step.

What should I wear?

Old long clothes, gloves, sturdy boots and layers. The cave is cool and dusty.

Is there a minimum age?

Usually 16 years and up. It is confirmed in your quote.

Can I add a safari?

Yes. Tsavo West and Amboseli are both close to the Chyulu Hills.
