Early morning. Pickup at 6am and game drive in Nairobi National Park looking for rhino, lion and giraffe.

11am. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust nursery for the one hour public visit. Watch orphaned baby elephants feed and play in the mud.

Midday. Lunch break in Karen.

Afternoon. Giraffe Centre to hand feed endangered Rothschild giraffes from the raised platform.

Do I need to book the Sheldrick visit ahead?

Yes. Sheldrick sells tickets online and the 11am visit often sells out. Book with Lujui Kenya Travels early so the ticket is secured.

What is the order of the day?

Park first while animals are active, Sheldrick at 11am, then the Giraffe Centre which stays open until 5pm.

Can I adopt an elephant?

Yes. Adoption is done with the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and you can do it on the day or online.

Is this too long for children?

Most children love it. The private vehicle means you can cut the game drive short if needed.
