When is the elephant orphanage open?

Public visits run once a day from 11am to 12pm. It is closed on some public holidays so check when you book.

Is it suitable for toddlers?

Yes. The elephants are behind a rope line and the giraffe platform is safe for small children.

Can I kiss a giraffe?

Many guests hold a pellet between their lips. It is your choice and the staff show you how.

What should I wear?

Closed shoes and clothes you do not mind getting a little mud on. The elephants love to splash.
