Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. Why pair Meru and Samburu?

They sit close together and feel very different. Meru is green with rivers. Samburu is dry with red earth.

Is a Samburu Meru tour busy?

No. Both parks see far fewer vehicles than the Mara or Amboseli.

What is the best season?

June to October and January to March. Meru tracks can be muddy in the rains.

Can I see rhinos?

Yes. Meru has a fenced rhino sanctuary with black and white rhinos.

Is this Meru Samburu itinerary good for kids?

Yes for kids who handle long drives. Lodges have pools for afternoon breaks.

Can I add Ol Pejeta?
