Day 1. Drive from Nairobi through Narok, about 5 to 6 hours. Evening game drive.

Day 2. Full day following the herds across the central plains.

Day 3. Move west towards the Mara River. Afternoon at the crossing points.

Day 4. Full day on the river with a packed lunch.

Day 5. Drive back to Nairobi, or transfer by road to the Isebania border post for travellers continuing into Tanzania, subject to your own visa and onward plans.

How far is the border from the Mara?
