Day 1. Drive from Nairobi to Naivasha, about 2 hours. Boat ride to see hippos and fish eagles, then a walk on Crescent Island among zebras and giraffes.

Can I swim with the hippos on the boat ride?

No. The boat keeps a safe distance. Hippos are best watched from the water, not in it.

Yes. It is near Hell's Gate and makes a relaxing stop. Ask for it when you book.
