Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. When is the best time for a Manda bay holiday?

October to April has calm seas. Some lodges close in May and June for the long rains.

How do I get there?

Daily flights connect Nairobi to Manda airstrip. From there the lodge boat takes 20 to 40 minutes.

Is it good for kids?

Yes. The bay is shallow and calm. Many lodges have family cottages.

Can I name a lodge I like?

Is there nightlife?

Very little. Evenings are dinner on the sand and early nights. Lamu town is a boat ride away.
