Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... Midday. Stop at the Sabaki river mouth for birds, then walk through Mambrui village to see the Mambrui mosque and an old pillar tomb.

Afternoon. Time on Mambrui beach before returning to your hotel.

About 15 km north of Malindi, roughly 20 minutes by road. From Watamu allow 50 minutes.

Is the sea safe for swimming here?

Waves can be strong. Swim only where your guide says it is calm.

Can visitors enter the mosque?

Visitors can see it from outside. Modest dress is expected in the village.

When is the best time of day?

Early morning or late afternoon, when the sand is cooler and the light softer.

Is it good for kids?

Yes. Children love sliding down the dunes.
