It is a sandbank off the Malindi coast. It appears at low tide and goes under again as the tide rises.

Can I eat something other than seafood?

Yes. Ask for chicken or a vegetarian plate when you book.

Yes with an adult close by. Life jackets are on the boat and the water near the sand is shallow.

October to March is usually calmest. June to August brings stronger winds and some trips may move.
