Day 1. Pickup in Eldoret and drive to Iten, about 45 minutes. A short iten tour through the home of champions and its running tracks. Sunset over the valley.

Day 2. Morning tandem flight from a launch site on the escarpment, weather permitting. Afternoon drive down the switchbacks to the valley floor and the Kerio River.

Day 3. Spare morning for a second launch window if the wind was wrong on day 2. Return to Eldoret.

Do I need experience for kerio valley paragliding?

No. On a tandem flight the pilot does the flying. You run a few steps at launch and then sit back.

Is there a weight limit?

Yes. Pilots set weight and health limits. Share your weight when you book so the pilot can confirm.

When is the best season?

Flights run most of the year when the wind is right. The dry months from December to March are usually the most reliable.

How long is the flight?

Usually 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the air that day.

Can children fly?

Older children may fly with the pilot's approval and a parent's consent. Ages are confirmed in your quote.

What if the weather is bad?

Flights move to the next launch window. If no window opens all weekend, Lujui Kenya Travels offers another date or adjusts your quote.
