Questions people ask
When is the best season for a wellness safari?
June to October and January to March are dry, so outdoor yoga rarely gets rained off. April and May bring short heavy showers.
What should I pack?
Your own yoga mat if you are attached to it, layers for cool Laikipia mornings, a swimsuit for the spa and closed shoes for walks.
Are the park and spa fees included?
Yes. Conservancy fees, park fees and the geothermal spa entry are all in the price. Massages are extra.
How long are the drives?
Nairobi to Naivasha is about 2 hours. Naivasha to Laikipia is 4 to 5 hours. Laikipia back to Nairobi is about 4 hours.
Can children come and do I need to be fit?
Children aged 12 and over are welcome. Classes suit all levels and every pose can be adapted. Walks are slow and led by an armed ranger where needed.
How is this different from a normal Kenya safari?
Shorter drives, more rest, daily practice and food built around your diet. You still see elephants, zebras and rhinos in Laikipia.
