The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. When is the best season?

July to October for the migration. January to March is a little cheaper and still dry.

What should I pack?

Neutral clothes, a warm jacket, comfortable shoes for Hell's Gate and a refillable bottle.

Are park fees included?

Yes. Mara, Nakuru and Hell's Gate fees are in the price. Park fees are a big part of any Kenya safari cost.

How much driving is there?

The longest leg is about 5 to 6 hours from Nairobi to the Mara. Other legs are 1.5 to 5 hours.

Can children join and is it safe?

Yes, all ages. Children under 12 get lower lodge rates. Hell's Gate cycling is on a flat track with a guide.

How does this compare to a 6 day budget camping trip?

Camping costs less but you share a van and sleep in basic tents. This gives private transport and proper rooms.
