Is October still migration season in the Masai Mara? Often, yes.
Large herds of wildebeest and zebra usually linger in the Mara into October before heading south. The plains are short and dry, so predators are easy to find. Lujui Kenya Travels adds a night at Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and a walk on Crescent Island.
