Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. Day 1. Arrive at JKIA and rest in Nairobi.

Day 2. Fly to Samburu. Late afternoon shoot along the Ewaso Nyiro River.

Day 3. Full day in Samburu for leopards, elephants and desert species.

Day 4. Fly to Amboseli via Wilson. Evening elephants with Kilimanjaro.

Day 5. Dawn mountain shots and a full day in Amboseli.

Day 6. Fly to the Masai Mara via Wilson. Evening drive.

Day 7. Full day with a packed breakfast and lunch to stay out in the best light.

Day 8. Full day following predators.

Day 9. Optional balloon, then a last sunset shoot.

When is the best season for a photo safari Kenya trip?

July to October for the migration and dust lit sunsets. January to March for green backdrops and young animals.

What should I pack?

Two bodies if you have them, a long lens, beanbag covers, spare batteries and dust protection. Soft bags under 15 kg for the flights.

Are park fees included?

Yes. All park and reserve fees on the route are included.

How long are the flights?

Each light aircraft hop is about 45 minutes to one hour, often with a stop at Wilson Airport.

Can children join?

Yes, but the long days suit teenagers and adults best.
