Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. When is the best season?

June to October gives dry, clear air. After rain, January and February give green grass and dramatic skies.

What gear should I bring?

A long lens of 200mm or more, a wider lens for the city, spare batteries and a bean bag.

Are park fees included?

Yes. KWS park entry is in your price. KWS sets the rates and they can change.

How far is the park?

The main gate is about 7 km from the CBD. Most hotels are 20 to 40 minutes away.

Can children join and is it safe?

Yes. You stay inside the vehicle in the park. The city walk stays with your guide.

How is it different from a normal game drive?

A normal drive moves on quickly. This one waits for the light and positions you for the shot.
