Is Chetambe Fort a museum?

No. It is an open hill site with traces of the old earthworks. The value lies in the story your guide tells.

About 2.5 hours by road. A Kisumu pickup works but makes a long day.

Can I add Bungoma town?

Yes. Bungoma is about 30 minutes from Webuye. A market stop and local food can be added.
