Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. What is the best time for a Watamu holiday 6 days long?

December to March brings calm seas and clear water. June to August is breezier but quieter.

Is the sea safe for small children?

The reef protects much of the beach, so the water is calm at low tide. Children should always be watched near the water.

How far is Watamu from Malindi airport?

About 25 km, roughly 30 minutes by road.

Are the family resorts Watamu offers good value?

Yes. Many have kids clubs, pools and connecting rooms at prices below Diani for the same level.

Are marine park fees included?
