The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. Is a del monte thika tour possible?

Access to the large estate depends on the company's permission. It is subject to availability, arranged on request. A smaller farm is used if not.

How far is Thika from Nairobi?

About 45 minutes to an hour on the Thika Superhighway.

What is sisal used for?

Its tough fibre makes rope, mats and bags. You see the plants and learn how the leaves are processed.

When is the best time to visit?

Pineapples grow all year. Dry months from June to October make farm roads easier.

Is it good for school groups?

Yes. Teachers often pair it with the falls for a farming and geography day.
