How does night viewing work?

Animals come to the floodlit waterhole through the night. Staff can wake you with a buzzer when special visitors appear.

Are children allowed?

The Ark sets minimum age rules for children. Lujui Kenya Travels confirms them for your dates.

What can I see?

Elephants, buffalo, hyenas, bushbuck and giant forest hogs. Leopards and bongo are rare but possible.

What should I pack?

Warm clothes, as Aberdare nights are cold, plus binoculars. Bring only a small overnight bag.

How far is it from Nairobi?

About 3 hours by road to the base hotel near Nyeri.

How is a tree lodge different from a safari lodge?
