How long is the hike?

The full ridge is roughly 10 to 12 km and takes 4 to 5 hours at an easy pace. Shorter versions are possible.

Is it very steep?

Some climbs are steep and the slopes are open with no shade. A basic level of fitness helps.

What should I wear?

Hiking shoes, a hat, sunscreen and a windbreaker. It gets windy along the top.

Can children do it?

Children from about 10 who walk often do well. Younger kids can do a short section.
