Is the canopy walk scary?

It is high and moves a little. Rails and nets make it safe. Take it slowly.

Can I swim in the pools?

Yes. The water is cold and deep in places. Strong swimmers only in the deeper parts.

How far is it from Nanyuki?

About an hour by road, the last part on a rough track.

Are there elephants?

Yes. Elephants use the forest as a corridor, which is why a guide is required.

Is it good for children?

Yes for children who can manage stairs and a short walk. Life jackets help small swimmers.

When is the best time?

The drier months, from June to October and January to March, give the clearest pools.
