Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. He really has a heart of gold,he is very kind and will go beyond to make sure we see all the animals... He's just a 10/10... Also we had a great group all together. Day 1. Pickup in Nairobi in an adapted safari vehicle with a lift or ramp, subject to availability, arranged on request. Drive to the Mara with rest stops in Narok. Check in.

When is the best time to go?

June to October and January to February are dry. Firm tracks make the ride smoother for the adapted safari vehicle.

What should I bring?

Your own chair, a cushion, any medicines and a charger. Tell Lujui Kenya Travels the chair width and weight.

Are park fees included?

Yes. Masai Mara park fees for your days in the reserve are in the price.

How long is the drive?

About five to six hours each way with rest stops. Light aircraft are hard for most chairs, so road travel is used.

Can children come along?

Yes. The vehicle carries the whole family. Ask for connecting rooms when you book.

How does this compare to an accessible safari Masai Mara option that flies in?

Flying is quicker but small planes have steep steps and no lift. The road trip is longer but keeps you in one adapted vehicle all the way.
