Why Lewa

Lewa is a UNESCO listed conservancy known for black and white rhino. It also holds Grevy's zebra, an endangered species found mainly in northern Kenya. Guest numbers are kept low.

Lewa or Maasai Mara?

Lewa: rhino, walking and fewer vehicles.

Maasai Mara: more big cats and the migration from July to October.

Many guests do both. See the 10 day flying safari on Lujui.

Best time to go

June to October and December to March. Some camps close in April, May and November.
