Day 1. Drive from Nairobi to Amboseli, about four hours. Afternoon game drive with the mountain in view.
Day 2. Sunrise drive for the clearest Kilimanjaro photos, then the swamps where elephants bathe.
Day 3. Drive back through Nairobi and on to the Masai Mara, arriving for dinner.
Day 4. Full day in the Mara with a picnic lunch. Short grass means easy cat sightings.
Day 5. Morning and evening drives, with time for a Maasai village visit.

Is February a good month for Amboseli?
Yes. It is one of the driest months and the best for clear views of Kilimanjaro, mostly early in the morning.
Is it very hot in February?
Days are warm, around 28 to 30 degrees. Mornings and evenings stay cool, so pack a light jacket.
Can we fly instead of driving?
Yes. Flights from Wilson Airport cut the long drives. Ask for the fly in option in your quote.
