Questions people ask
When is the best season?
June to October and January to March. Tracks turn muddy in April, May and November.
What should I pack?
Padded shorts, gloves, sunglasses, a hydration pack and your own pedals and saddle if you prefer.
Are park fees included?
Yes. All park and conservancy fees are in the quote.
How far is each day of riding?
Between about 20 and 50 km. A mountain bike Kenya trail rider will find it moderate.
Can children come?
Teens who ride often can join. Younger children can ride shorter sections.
How does this compare with a vehicle safari?
You see fewer big cats, since cycling is not allowed where lions roam. You get far closer to plains game.
