The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. Day 1. Arrive at JKIA and transfer to your Nairobi hotel.

Day 2. Drive to Amboseli, about four to five hours. Afternoon game drive.

Day 3. Full day in Amboseli among elephants with Kilimanjaro behind.

Day 4. Drive to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Evening at a lodge overlooking a waterhole.

Day 5. Morning in Tsavo East with its red dust elephants. Continue to Diani on the south coast.

Day 6. Free beach day in Diani.

Day 7. Optional dhow trip to Kisite Marine Park from Shimoni.

Day 8. Free day. Try a Colobus conservation walk or simply rest.

Day 9. Last full day on the beach.

Day 10. Transfer to Ukunda airstrip or Moi International Airport for your flight home.

When is the best time for a Kenia Safari?

June to October and January to March are dry. The coast is hottest from December to March.

What should I pack?

Light layers, a warm fleece for Amboseli mornings, swimwear, reef safe sunscreen and soft bags.

Are park fees included?

Yes. Park and sanctuary fees for each safari day are in the price. Marine park fees apply only if you add the dhow trip.

How long are the drives?

The longest days are Nairobi to Amboseli and Tsavo East to Diani, each about four to five hours.

Is it suitable for children?

Yes for children from about 6. Family rooms are booked where possible.

Is a safari Kenia deutschsprachig possible?

Yes. A German speaking guide can be requested. If none is free, an English speaking guide runs the trip and Lujui Kenya Travels tells you before you pay.
