Accommodation: The giraffe hills Mara camp was amazing. The host are really very kind(Mzee, Diana and the whole equipe)☺️... Bless their soul. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean... The breakfast and dinner was on time and delicious... We even had a bonfire. Our tour guide: Cephas is the best tour guide and driver I've ever meet. He made our safari most memorable. Day 1. Drive about two hours to Hell's Gate. Set up camp, then cycle to Fischer's Tower. Campfire dinner under the cliffs.

Day 2. Early hike through Ol Njorowa Gorge with a guide, breakfast at camp, then pack up and drive back to Nairobi.

Is it safe to camp in Hell's Gate?

Yes. There are no lions in the park. The campsites are run by KWS and a guide stays with your group.

Are there toilets?

Campsites have basic toilets and water. Bring a headlamp.

What animals might I see?

Zebras, buffalo, giraffes, gazelles and many birds of prey on the cliffs.

Can I bring my own tent?

Yes. Your quote drops. Tell the team when you book.

How cold does it get?

Nights can be cool, around 10 to 12 degrees. A warm sleeping bag is a must.

What if it rains?

The gorge closes in heavy rain because of flash floods. The guide will suggest a safe alternative.
