Can I walk across to Chale Island?
At very low tides the channel gets shallow. Most days a short boat ride is easier. It is included.
Is there shade on the island?
Yes. Much of Chale is covered in coastal forest, so there is plenty of shade.
Is Chale good for snorkelling?
It is gentle snorkelling in the shallows. For bigger reefs, pair it with a Kisite marine park day.
What is the best time of year to visit?
December to March for flat water. April to June is the long rains, so expect showers.
