Day 1. Arrival in Nairobi. Afternoon at the Giraffe Centre and a night in the city.

Day 2. Drive to Amboseli, about 4 to 5 hours. Evening game drive with Kilimanjaro in view on a clear day.

Day 3. Full day in Amboseli for elephants and the swamps.

Day 4. Drive to Lake Naivasha. Afternoon boat ride to see hippos and fish eagles.

How much time is spent driving?

Most travel days are 4 to 6 hours with stops. Ask for a flight Mara to Nairobi on the last day to save time.

Will I see the Big Five?

Lions, elephants and buffalo are likely. Rhino is best at Nakuru. Leopard needs some luck.

When is the best time?

June to October is dry with the migration in the Mara from about July. January to February is also good.

Can children join?

Yes. Most lodges welcome children. Lujui Kenya Travels checks age rules for each one.
